Years ago when the stock market rose and fell with the successes and failures of GM, I read an interesting story in a book about a man who struck up conversations with people on a train he was riding. Two people's views on the down economy at the time contrasted so greatly, that he made note of it. Both people he spoke with happened to be real estate agents. The first man said the GM layoffs were awful, because no one was buying, and no one was even interested in even considering purchasing a house. He radiated negative energy.
